At Crustacean in Beverly Hills, we enjoyed a unique brunch featuring a special Pop-lini cocktail, dim sum, and inventive dishes like Ube Soufflé pancakes, duck potstickers, and tuna cigars. Highlights included Langoustine Benedict, Ramen Cacio E Pepe, and for dessert, beignets with Vietnamese coffee crème anglaise and vegan coconut sorbet.
Crustacean: A southern California institution. The family-run, Vietnamese fusion restaurant has been around since 1991, with chef Helene An, the matriarch of the business, opening the Beverly Hills location in 1995. The spot even has its own secret entrance for celebrities. Lakzani and her husband seem to be regulars. Get the whimsical tuna cigars like they did, and order her cocktail “Daughter of the Dragon” for a bit of spice from the Thai chili-infused vodka. 468 N. Bedford Drive, Beverly Hills
